Colleges and Universities
Higher education is the primary focus of The Abney Foundation. We are proud to have Abney Foundation Scholarship endowments at fifteen colleges and
universities across the state of South Carolina. Over $41,630,000 has been awarded to 18,417 Abney Scholars, including 660 students for the academic year 2022-23.
The combined endowment balances exceed $52,680,000.
The Abney Foundation makes grants to fund these endowments, however the university/college administer the scholarship programs. You may contact the financial aid department at the school you're interested in to see if you qualify.
